Sodbury Vale Benefice Strollers
The Ridings, Chipping Sodbury
Meet at 0930 a.m. at The Ridings Car Park to share lifts.
On Wednesday, September 18th the Sodbury Vale strollers will be doing the Lansdown Loop.
This is a 4.5 to 5 mile largely flat walk around Lansdown near Bath. It takes in the site of the 1643 Civil War battle of Lansdown, some great views over Bristol from Hanging Hill and stunning views of Bath, Bristol and surrounding countryside from Prospect Stile. It also skirts Lansdown Golf Club and finishes with crossing Bath Race Course. No cafe en-route, so bring drinks as required. Lunch will be available at The Charlcombe Inn on Lansdown after the walk for those wishing to partake.
