Armstrong Hall Public Dissemination Meeting

Thornbury Methodist Church Hall

I would like to welcome you to our 2nd and final engagement meeting as part of our CARPIT (Creating ARts/Performance Space in Thornbury) project.

The meeting will take place on Friday the 19th of July at 7.30pm upstairs in Thornbury Methodist Church (BS35 2AQ). There is a lift on site for those who need assistance and parking is available at Castle Court car park.

We hope this event will give both user groups & the wider Thornbury community an opportunity to feed in to our options appraisal. Our aim at this meeting is to share with you the work the Trust has completed to date and receive input on the various options available to the trust before we make our final decision on the outcome of this project.

If you are just joining us on this journey, you can view notes & slides from our initial user group meeting on the 21st of July 2023 and our first public meeting on the 7th of December 2023 on our website here.

We have also uploaded to this website the dossiers produced so far by each of the project groups. The remaining dossiers from groups T, T2 and now T3(!) will be uploaded at least a few days before the event so you have time to digest the detail.

In the interest of transparency, on the evening we plan to share with you the scoring method we will be using to evaluate each dossier.

Our wish is to have as many of the Town’s Arts groups present at the meeting as possible as well as the wider Thornbury community.

We very much look forward to holding these final discussions in a positive manner with a clear focus on the future of Arts in the town.

Kind Regards,
James Murray
