Create your own brass or copper Christmas tree decoration in a relaxed and festive evening workshop with Aimee Winstone Jewellery at Winterbourne Medieval Barn.
Using a piercing saw, texturing hammers, Christmas-inspired punches, and letter punches, you will cut out, texture and personalise your piece. There will be a selection of templates to choose from, or simply create your own.

We are running our regular Christmas Market Day trip to Worcester, the price is £20 per person, which includes a bacon roll and a hot drink at the Swan.
The itinerary is - meet at The Swan from 8am for a free coffee and a bacon roll. Leave for outside the Swan at 9am on the dot we will have all day to browse around the Christmas Market and shops until we are picked up at 7pm.
Tickets will sell out as always, you can book your ticket from The Swan, ask any of the bar staff who will be able to help you. Mobility scooters are allowed, provided that they can be folded down and go in the luggage compartment of the bus. Tickets are available now get yours early.

Christmas Nativity Displays
Christ the King Church Hall, Thornbury
Christmas Nativity Displays will be held in the Hall on Sunday 30th November and Sunday 7th December after both Masses. Advent Calendars, Cribs, cards, children’s Christmas books and other items will be on sale.
These items are sold at near cost price, and all the proceeds go to the church so come and get some bargains and support Christ the King Church.
Festive Sunday Lunch
Old Down Estate, Tockington
Old Down Estate is inviting guests to celebrate the season with its Festive Sunday Lunch, served in the Manor on selected Sundays in December. The menu will feature a traditional roast with a festive twist, complete with all the trimmings, crackers on the tables and mince pies to finish. A variety of seasonal desserts will also be available to round off the occasion.

Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) is celebrating its second successful year raising vital funds through its shop on Thornbury High Street. Nestled next to Tesoro Lounge, the shop has welcomed many customers, volunteers, and donations since its doors opened in December 2023. The charity would therefore like to thank local people for their generous support and invite them to two days of festivities.
To kick off, a local choir will be singing carols at the shop from approximately 11:30 on Tuesday 9 December.

Old Down Estate will host its themed Christmas Parties in the Manor House on Saturday 6 December and Friday 12 December (7pm–12am, £60pp). The event on Saturday 13 December is already sold out.
Guests will be welcomed with Prosecco and canapés before enjoying a festive two-course meal and a night of interactive entertainment. The shared party nights are designed for groups of all sizes, from friends and families to colleagues. Groups of eight or more will automatically receive a 10% discount at checkout.
