Each month, a talk by an invited speaker is held at Poole Court in Yate. There are also occasional visits and trips to sites of archaeological interest. We are actively involved in archaeological investigations locally, from archive research, through geophysics to excavation.
Anybody with an interest in archaeology is invited to come to our talks or help with the fieldwork. All will be made very welcome.
We usually have our talks on the third Wednesday of each month starting at 7.30. The only exceptions are December and July/August.
Members of the public are welcome to attend, and there is usually no need to book but potential visitors are strongly advised to read the relevant month's post for any last-minute changes. You can also contact the group by making a comment on the Facebook page via the link below.
