Alveston Local History Society arranges talks by experts on local places, historic figures and issues. There is also a social programme of events and trips throughout the year.
Talks are held at 7:30pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Alveston Methodist Church. There are no meetings during June, July, August and December. Visitors are welcome and we serve refreshments half way through.
