Thornbury U3A Past Civilizations Group Inaugural Meeting
The Chantry, Thornbury
This proposed group is intended to be an amalgamation, and replacement of, the previous Classical Studies
and Ancient Civilisations Groups. This new group could
include more recent ‘Empires’ than that of Alexander the Great, as well as looking further into the past when
civilisation was just starting.
