An Evening with Julia Samuel - Loss and Healing

Memorial Woodlands

Bristol Memorial Woodlands is working in partnership with Gentle Dusk to deliver a range of talks, seminars and bereavement services to support the local community and local health professionals in providing the best end of life care and bereavement support.

A special evening is being hosted with best-selling author and psychotherapist Julia Samuel, exploring the difficult and complicated emotions tied up with loss. Julia Samuel, founder patron of Child Bereavement UK and author of three best-selling books will be talking with Mireille Hayden, health psychologist and founding director of Gentle Dusk, about how to heal and come to terms with loss.

The evening will also review stories from Julia Samuel’s books: Grief Works and Every Family has a story. The event is being held on Thursday 29th September.

Starting at 6pm with drinks and nibbles and then discussion from 6:30pm the event is free but places are limited and attendance needs to be registered via the link below, with donations to Cruse Bereavement Bristol – donations will go to training more bereavement volunteers in Bristol and surrounding area.
