*NEW* Coffee, Cake and Creative Writing

Christ the King Church Hall, Thornbury

11am-12.30, in the parlour

Marie Day is bringing monthly coffee mornings with a creative twist to Thornbury on the last Tuesday of the month.

These relaxed sessions are a time to unwind, meet like-minded people and explore your creativity. You don't need to have any experience with writing and no one is asked to read aloud. I will provide prompts to help you create your own stories, poems and memoirs. There will also be drinks and cake! Each session is £12 and places must be booked ahead.

Please message or email if you'd like to come along. Please also share with anyone you think would be interested.

Marie Day has been writing for several years. Her stories are featured in Oxford Flash Fiction, National Flash Fiction Day, Writementor magazine, Paperbound and Paper Lanterns magazine. In 2024 she was Joint Winner of the Henshaw Press Short Story competition.
