Talk: Gloucestershire Gardens Great and Small
Winterbourne Medieval Barn
This illustrated talk will explore gardens in Gloucestershire (and South Glos) starting from the very first mention of a garden in the historical records, and travelling through time.
Marion Hill, Learning & Outreach Officer at Gloucestershire County Council, looks at a wonderful variety of gardens, ranging from medicinal and culinary, to therapeutic and educational, as well as beautiful gardens created simply to enjoy.
The talk part of the Green Pledge Project at Gloucestershire Archives, which is part of a 2 year Heritage Lottery funded project. To find out more about the project click here.
