The Feast of the Visitation

Thursday 31st May is the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The feast celebrates the day when Mary, the Mother of God, went to visit her cousin, Elizabeth, herself with child.
Mary, by then pregnant with Jesus, brings help and a blessing to Elizabeth, Zachariah and the yet to be born John the Baptist.
To mark the Feast of the Visitation, the mysteries of the
Rosary will be prayed in the church garden at 7.30 pm
on the day.
