About Steve England: All his life Steve has loved the outdoors. Growing up in Bristol, his childhood was spent exploring the fields and woodlands of Stoke Park, fascinated by every tree, plant, bird and butterfly. He decided to continue his learning formally with the RHS, studying horticulture alongside teaching himself everything there was to know about the wildlife and history on his doorstep. Over 10 years ago Steve began sharing what he had learned with groups of friends and his local community, and absolutely loved passing on everything he knew. Whether foraging foods, learning about poisonous plants, lighting fires, identifying birds and bats, or looking back in time at the history of North Bristol, Steve comes alive in front of an audience and thrives on sharing his knowledge with others.

Steve England Outdoor Learning provides outdoor adult education events, courses and workshops within North Bristol.

The primary purpose of the event is to raise money for WMBT and to support conservation, management, maintenance and improvement of the WMBT site.
